Safety and Security - NetTeller™ Internet Banking features multiple factor authentication for security to protect the confidentiality and safety of your banking transactions.   All communication between your computer and the bank is encrypted and travels over secure connections.  We also take precautions to make sure no one can gain unauthorized access to our system.   You can only access your account by entering your individual user ID and password and in the event of any unusual activity on your account, you will be asked to verify your identity by answering specific security or "challenge" questions that you pre-selected. 

System Requirements – To use NetTeller™ Internet Banking, all you need is a North Valley Bank checking account, an Internet browser capable of supporting 128-bit encryption, and an e-mail address.  While not required, our service works best with Mozilla Firefox 3.0x or Internet Explorer 8.0x or Safari 1.0x.
